Measurement of the K+ -> pi^+ nu nu decay

The NA62 experiment recently reported (arXiv:2103.15389) a measurement of
the branching ratio of the K+ -> pi+ nu nu decay: (10.6+4.0-3.4 +/-0.9) X
10^-11, based on the observation of 20 signal candidates with an expected
background of 7.0 event. This provides evidence of this very rare decay
mode, observed with a significance of 3.4sigma. The result is compatible
with the SM prediction of (8.4+/-1.0)x10^-11. During the seminar we will
present the analysis leading to this result. We will also comment on other
measurements NA62 has and will provide.
