Extreme QCD is a series of international workshops covering recent advances in the theory and phenomenology of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) under extreme conditions of temperature and/or baryon density, and related topics. The meeting is held annually, usually scheduled in an adjacent week, and located in close geographical proximity, to the annual Lattice Symposium. This is the first Latin American edition of this event, based on a Brazilian-Mexican initiative.
