As part of a continuing commitment to advance scholars in higher education, the Quantum Optics Group at the Institute for Nuclear Sciences (ICN), UNAM, is pleased to announce the availability of postdoctoral research appointments for a period of up to two years.
The Postdoctoral (Postdoc) Programme at the Institute for Nuclear Sciences (ICN), UNAM, offers the opportunity for appointees to perform research in a scientifically rich R&D environment; present and publish their research; contribute to the overall research efforts at the Institute; and advance knowledge in the areas of basic and applied research.
Most postdocs will be offered a Postdoctoral Research Associate appointment. These are awarded initially for 1 year, renewable for a second.
How To Apply
Every postdoc at the Institute for Nuclear Sciences (ICN) MUST be sponsored by an academic staff member. To identify a potential sponsor, you can review the different divisions and the science subject areas of the Institute. In addition, you can meet potential sponsors at national and international conferences and workshops, by networking with colleagues, or by scanning journal publications.
Applicants should have obtained their Ph.D degree in the previous three years and be 35 years of age or younger, by February 1st of the following year.
